Job Description
Technical Consultation:
- Serve as the technical expert for the company’s products and solutions, bridging the gap between clients and the engineering team.
- Provide in-depth explanations of products and solutions to prospective and existing clients
Proposal Development:
- Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals, presentations, and cost-benefit analyses
- Ensure all technical details in proposals align with the client’s specific requirements
Client Support:
- Engage with clients to identify their technical needs and recommend the most suitable solutions
- Provide post-sales support, including technical troubleshooting and product optimisation
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to align technical solutions with sales goals
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
Market Insights:
- Gather feedback from clients to identify product improvement opportunities and relay them to the R&D team.
- Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies relevant to the company’s offerings
Training:
- Educate the sales team and clients on the technical aspects of products through workshops or demonstrations
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, technical proposals, and project progress
Qualifications
- Fluency in Khmer and English (spoken and written)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical sales role or engineering-related position
- Strong understanding of solar energy solutions, smart technology, or engineering systems
- Proven experience in preparing technical proposals, cost estimations, and client presentations
- Ability to explain complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner
- Experience in handling client inquiries and providing tailored technical solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in client-facing roles
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and in teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, engineering simulation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with CRM software for sales tracking is an advantage
- Cambodian citizen with a valid work status in Phnom Penh
