We are partnering with a dynamic company launching two exciting new ventures: a logistics app (similar to J&T Express) and an e-commerce platform (similar to Shopee, Lazada, or Amazon).
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Managing Director to lead both brands through their crucial early stages of development and launch. This individual will be instrumental in building the teams and infrastructure necessary for rapid growth and market penetration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for both the logistics and e-commerce platforms.
- Lead and mentor the management and staff teams across both ventures.
- Oversee all aspects of operations, from initial setup and launch to ongoing growth and scaling.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress toward strategic objectives.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and investors.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Managing Director or in a senior leadership role, preferably within the logistics, e-commerce, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and e-commerce landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $3,000 – $3,500 USD per month
- Open to: Local and Expat candidates
