Our client, a leading company with an established presence in the food production and export industry, are seeking a skilled and proactive Logistics Planner to join their dynamic team; this role is ideal for candidates with a background in logistics, supply chain management, or planning, who are eager to contribute to an organization that values productivity, quality, compliance, and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage logistics schedules to ensure the timely delivery of products to international customers.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external logistics service providers to align with delivery schedules and meet organizational goals.
- Inventory Monitoring: Track finished goods inventory levels and provide regular status updates to management to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Documentation Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to prepare and arrange all required documentation for product shipments.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously seek and implement cost-saving opportunities within the logistics process.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Competencies
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, planning, or supply chain management.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of English, including speaking, listening, and writing skills.
