Reporting to: Real Estate Investment Director
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Salary: $6,500–$7,000 + commission on all land and real estate sales
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a senior fundraising and capital formation professional (VP level or above) to drive our client’s growth by securing capital for a portfolio of high-value real estate development projects in Cambodia.
This role is about connecting with a global network of institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals — guiding them from first engagement through to final investment commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy & Delivery
Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve and surpass capital-raising goals for current and future real estate funds and projects. - Investor Prospecting & Pipeline Management
Identify, qualify, and manage relationships with prospective Limited Partners (LPs) — including institutional investors, pension funds, endowments, family offices, and UHNWIs — while maintaining a clear pipeline through CRM tools. - Relationship Building
Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with new and existing investors, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring satisfaction at every stage. - Marketing & Pitching
Create compelling investment materials such as pitch decks, PPMs, DDQs, and financial models. Deliver persuasive presentations that clearly position Cambodian real estate as a high-value opportunity. - Due Diligence & Closing
Manage the full due diligence process, handle investor queries, and coordinate with internal legal and finance teams to close commitments smoothly. - Market & Investor Intelligence
Monitor real estate trends, macroeconomic conditions, and competitor activity to keep offerings competitive. Provide investor insights to senior management to help shape future strategies. - Reporting
Deliver clear, regular updates on fundraising progress, pipeline activity, and investor feedback to leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience
- 5–7+ years in capital raising, investor relations, or business development within the financial sector.
- Strong preference for an Investment Banking background (ECM, DCM, or coverage groups) with direct exposure to institutional clients.
- Alternatively, proven fundraising experience in private equity, real estate, or alternative investments with a clear track record of closing LP commitments.
- Network
A strong, active network of institutional investors, family offices, and/or HNWIs is a major advantage.
