Job Description

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, organise, and execute events and activations to promote the company’s technology solutions
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and resource allocation
  • Ensure events reflect the company’s branding and achieve desired objectives

Brand Activation:

  • Design and implement interactive brand activation strategies to engage target audiences effectively
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate events into broader campaigns

Team Supervision:

  • Lead and manage a team of junior event coordinators and support staff
  • Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to ensure team success

Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality services

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective execution
  • Prepare detailed expense reports and ensure financial transparency

Post-Event Analysis:

  • Evaluate event success through feedback, metrics, and ROI analysis
  • Prepare post-event reports with actionable insights for future improvements

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all events comply with local regulations and company policies
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential risks or challenges

Market Awareness:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ activities to keep the company’s events competitive and innovative

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of Khmer is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in events planning, brand activations, or marketing campaigns, preferably in the tech or renewable energy industry
  • Proven track record in managing events and activations from concept to execution
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to design impactful event concepts
  • Familiarity with technology products and services, particularly in renewable energy or smart tech solutions
  • Ability to integrate technical aspects of products into event activations
  • Proficiency in event management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design or video editing tools is a plus
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally for events or activations
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro) is a plus
